About Lena
Lena B. Taylor is a passionate speaker and the creator behind Flipping Gorgeous, a DIY and Home Improvement YouTube channel that has garnered over 20 million views.
Lena B. Taylor‘s mission is to help ambitious, creative women stop waiting, and start doing.
Before becoming a voice for action and possibility, Lena co-founded the award-winning skincare brand Good Behind the Glam, earning recognition as one of Gladys Magazine’s “Top 20 CEOs.” But behind the accolades, she was burning out, juggling three small children, navigating her son’s autism diagnosis, and leading a business that no longer aligned with her heart.
When the COVID-19 pandemic forced the world to pause, Lena took it as permission to rebuild. She picked up tools—both literal and emotional—and began renovating her life from the inside out. What started as a personal reset grew into a thriving online platform and a movement of women embracing bold, imperfect action.
Today, Lena is the creator of The Paint the Wall Method—a simple yet powerful approach that helps women break free from overthinking by taking small, visible steps forward, no matter how imperfect. Whether she’s speaking to corporate teams, entrepreneurs, or women’s groups, Lena blends raw honesty, compelling storytelling, and actionable strategies that leave audiences not just inspired—but in motion.
She lives just outside Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband and their three children.

Hi, I’m Lena. mom of three, a speaker, and a content creator.
I wasn’t always holding a paintbrush or speaking on stages.
For years, I co-ran an award-winning skincare company, sold real estate, juggled three small kids, and tried to keep up with the life I thought I was “supposed” to have. From the outside, it looked successful—Gladys Magazine even named me one of their “Top 20 CEOs.” But behind the scenes, I was running on fumes. My son had recently been diagnosed with autism, my days were a blur of responsibilities, and I had this growing, aching feeling that the business I’d built no longer aligned with my heart.
Then 2020 happened.
When the pandemic brought everything to a halt, I finally had something I hadn’t in years, space to breathe. I realized I’d been waiting for the “perfect time” to make changes, but that time never came. So, I picked up tools, both literal and emotional, and started renovating my home…and my life.
That’s when I discovered what I now call The Paint the Wall Method. The idea is simple: stop overthinking, start with what’s right in front of you, and take one small, visible action. Just paint the first wall. That tiny act creates momentum, and momentum changes everything.
What began as a personal experiment turned into Flipping Gorgeous, my DIY and home renovation YouTube channel and social media has become a community of over 500,000 people and 20+ million views. More importantly, it’s become a movement of women proving to themselves that they are capable of far more than they’ve been led to believe.
Today, whether I’m speaking on a stage, creating videos, or connecting online, my mission is the same: to help you stop waiting for perfect and start going after the thing you’ve been dreaming of—one bold, imperfect step at a time.
